As a service to the scientific research community and in keeping with our commitment to the rapid dissemination of scientific information, ACS Publications is now providing authors with the option of publishing Just Accepted manuscripts for seven of its journals.
Just Accepted manuscripts will have been peer-reviewed and accepted for publication. They will be posted online prior to technical editing, formatting and author proofing. Additional information on Just Accepted manuscripts can be found on the ACS Publications Just Accepted FAQ website.
Dissemination of these accepted, unedited manuscripts provides earlier access to the most up-to-date research in a fully citable format using a Digital Object Identifier (DOI®). The Just Accepted manuscript will be replaced with the ASAP or issue version of the article posted online. All versions of the article retain the same DOI to ensure that citations to Just Accepted manuscripts link to the final scientific article of record when it becomes available.
