The 17th Conference of the European Ceramics Society (ECerS) presents cutting-edge research and product developments in a great variety of ceramic science and technology aspects and provides an opportunity for researchers, engineers, industry leaders as well as students from around the world to present and exchange their recent findings. The conference is organized along with ECerS and the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems IKTS and is supported by the German Ceramic Society DKG e. V.

Besides the plenary lectures, the conference includes the ECerS awards ceremony and the ECerS fellowships ceremony as well as a Student Speech Contest.
